About
Natey handles traffic cases, criminal matters, and protective orders in Fredericksburg and the surrounding areas. Known for her courtroom presence, she is skilled at challenging the government’s evidence in complex cases—such as blood-draw DUIs—while also humanizing her clients before judges and juries. She has earned a strong reputation among clients and peers as a determined, talented, and approachable advocate.
Natey’s ability to navigate high-stakes situations is rooted in her own experience. She and her family fled the Republic of the Congo on foot and resettled in a refugee community in Benin before ultimately making a home in Nashville, Tennessee. Her parents’ resilience and commitment to serving others shaped her path.
A graduate of Rhodes College and Washington & Lee School of Law, Natey began her career as a public defender in Fredericksburg, where clients often requested her by name. She later expanded her skills by working with a respected Northern Virginia firm on complex civil litigation matters. Ultimately, she returned to criminal defense, where she feels most connected to her purpose: protecting people’s futures and ensuring the justice system functions fairly.
Natey has also structured her practice to accept court appointments when the Office of the Public Defender is unavailable, allowing her to serve individuals who might otherwise go without representation.
